Beginning today, the Walt Disney World Resort has updated its temporary cancellation and modification policy to include arrivals through the end of 2020!
Updated language regarding this policy has been added and the new policy states:

Enjoy added peace of mind when you book your next Disney vacation! If your plans change, any Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees will be waived up to the date of check-in for reservations with arrivals through December 31, 2020.
Guests now have the peace of mind that ANY Walt Disney World Resort Vacation booked from August 17, 2020 through December 31, 2020 can be cancelled or modified right up until the date of check-in no matter what the reasons!
Guests may now book a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation for dates August 17 – December 31, 2020 and no longer need worry about having any type of cancellation fee’s, or late cancellation charges.
