Word is coming in that over the next few week, the Walt Disney World Parks are switching over to automated cameras at select indoor PhotoPass Character Meet & Greets. This process was tested last year but didn’t receive a great response from guests. Hopefully the automated cameras have improved before this roll out.
There will be an automated camera to take the photos, and you will use your MagicBand to grab the photos on your way out.
Rumors are that 9 locations will begin using these automated cameras this month.
