We are Don & Tina Korta, the Owners of Destinations with Character Travel.
We are living our dream of making travel available to people of all walks of life! We are life long travel and Disney fans starting with family trips as a child to Disneyland, Universal Hollywood, Silver City, Branson Missouri, Grand Canyon National Park, the Walt Disney World Resort, Clearwater Beach, the Bahamas, and dozens of other U.S. destinations.
As adults we’ve traveled to many locations including dozens of trips to Walt Disney World at the majority of Resorts including Concierge and Club Levels, Disney Vacation Club Resorts (We own 2 DVC contracts), Russia, Germany, Singapore and Cambodia. Owning our own agency is a dream come true and a way to realize our goal of making travel available to everyone, no matter what their background or budget.
Our agents work together as a team, sharing their knowledge and helping each other to make sure all of our clients get the same level of service. We take pride in the fact that we will be available for you from the first day of planning right up until the day you return home.

I’m Joleen Westrich, owner of “Magical Travels with Jo“, an affiliate of Destinations with Character Travel.
I currently live in the quaint shoreline town of Mystic, CT with my husband Wayne and two boys, William and Jordan. Before settling here We lived all over the US and in Hawaii before my husband retired from the Navy. I love to travel and am a frequent visitor of Walt Disney World and was even lucky enough to visit Disneyland in Tokyo a few times.
While living in Waikiki, on the island of Oahu for three years, I was able to experience the history and culture of the Hawaiian islands and became very familiar with all that these beautiful islands have to offer. I would love to help you plan the island vacation of your dreams!
I am a lifelong Disney fan and I enjoy helping my clients and friends to plan dream vacations and make memories that will last a lifetime. I am very familiar with the parks, resorts and restaurants at Disney World and the Disneyland resort (and also knowledgeable about the Southern California area and attractions, having lived in San Diego). We are Ken and Nikki Dangman, and we are a Disney loving family! I (Nikki) grew up going to Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World as part of my family vacations every summer of my life. Once we were married, we knew we wanted to share Disney with our own kids. We have two boys that have been going to Disney every year since they were 2 and 18 months old. After our first trip, Ken realized how good I was at planning because we never waited more than 20 minutes for anything, and we had traveled at Christmas time too! We rode all the popular rides multiple times and went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! From there, our family was hooked. We have traveled to most major parts of Florida and cruised to The Bahamas. Currently, we average about two vacations a year. We try to travel and experience all Disney has to offer across the country. Our family has experienced different resorts and have done the dining plan multiple times. We have flown and we have driven to Florida. Over the years, we have experienced many Early Magic hour events, After Hour events, tours, etc. We have even done Disney without our kids, and it was amazing! Our different experiences can be very valuable in helping to plan your trip. I study all things “Disney” on the side, and have been helping family and friends plan vacations for years now. We thought it was a great opportunity to put our passion to good use and join the ranks of the official vacation planners. Hello, I am Maryanne Walsh, an avid traveler and Disney Cruise addict. I’ve had a professional career in business/finance, with a passion for travel. Planning my own trips has always been a lot of fun and I can spend hours researching destinations. I was brainstorming my dream career path with my husband, and I couldn’t get travel agent out of my head. I took advantage of a great opportunity and joined Destinations With Character to become an official vacation planner. I’ve had many visits to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens Tampa, Universal Orlando, along with 2 Royal Caribbean Cruises, and 3 Disney Cruises.
