Guests Visiting Walt Disney World Resort Should Engage With My Disney Experience Pre-arrival & During Their Stay Including New Mobile Dine Check-In!

As Disney plans for the reopening of our Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels and Theme Parks, it will be important for you to link your upcoming resort reservation and/or ticket to My Disney Experience as soon as possible.

This will enable you to receive important communications and information about next steps and key planning dates, including the recently announced Theme Park reservation system.

As a reminder, you can find the most updated information on the Walt Disney World Resort “Know Before You Go” microsite, DisneyTravelTradeInfo.com/wdw.

Face Coverings & Temperature Screenings

Learn about new guidelines for face coverings and temperature screenings at Walt Disney World Resort.

Face Coverings

All Guests ages 2 and up—along with Cast Members—are required to wear face coverings when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming.

All face coverings should:

  • Fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth and allow the Guest to remain hands-free
  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
  • Be secured with ties or ear loops
  • Be made of breathable material, either disposable or reusable

Costume masks are not considered appropriate and are prohibited from being worn, in alignment with our existing rules.

The use of face coverings is not a substitute for physical distancing.

Temperature Screenings

Upon arrival at Disney Springs or at the Walt Disney World theme parks, you may undergo a temperature screening with no-touch thermometers.

Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will be directed to an additional location for rescreening and assistance. Those with temperatures 100.4 F or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.

Before you leave home, be sure to check the temperatures of everyone in your party—including yourself—as an extra layer of precaution.

New on the Walt Disney World web site:

Mobile Dine Check-in

Use convenient technologies to minimize your contact with others:

  • Mobile Order Service: A time-saving feature of the My Disney Experience app, mobile order service enables you to order ahead at select dining locations and pick up food during a designated arrival window.
  • Mobile Check-In for Reservations: Check in to your dining reservations at select table-service restaurants using the new mobile check-in feature on the My Disney Experience app. There’s no need to visit the host stand to check in!

Now you can check in for dining reservations at select table-service restaurants via the My Disney Experience mobile app!

This convenient feature enables you to maximize your vacation time with family and friends—and minimize your contact with others.

Note: Mobile check-in is only supported by devices running Android or iOS with the latest version of the My Disney Experience app installed and location services enabled.

How It Works:

It’s easy to use mobile check-in during your visit. All you need is your phone, the My Disney Experience app and a dining reservation at a participating restaurant!

Here’s how it works:

  • When your check-in window arrives, you’ll receive a push notification prompting you to check in via the app. Or, you can begin the check-in process by scanning a QR code located in the restaurant’s lobby. There’s no need to visit the host stand to check in.
  • From the push notification or QR code, you’ll be able to check in for your reservation—and confirm your arrival time and party details.
  • Once your table is ready, you’ll be notified to proceed to a specified location.
