Fantastic Photo-Tour of “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!” in Orlando, Florida

Have an empty day while visiting in Orlando?
Don’t know what to do?
We advise you to check out the wonderful Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum.
Check out this excellent photo tour of Ripley’s from our fantastic friends at Orlando Theme Park News. This fabulous photo tour of the Orlando Ripley’s Believe It or Not! was originally split into 3 separate articles by our awesome friends over at Orlando Theme Park News. Here we have combined it all into one giant article for your viewing pleasure.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not is one of Orlando’s most unique attractions. While there are multiple locations around the world (including other Florida cities) where visitors can find one of Ripley’s many “Odditoriums,” the props and artifacts featured in the Orlando version of this attraction are among the most interesting and mind-boggling we have ever seen. The International Drive museum is also the first one to showcase the world’s most expensive dress! Let’s take a look around.

The exterior of Ripley’s Odditorium effectively sets a tone for what’s in store inside the building:

Thank you for joining us for the second part of this large photo-tour of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
In the previous part, we explored the first few galleries of the Odditorium, which are filled with interesting and unique artifacts.
There are still plenty of exhibits to check out, including the area dedicated to Marilyn Monroe’s $5 million dress. We hope you will enjoy the rest of this virtual tour.

– World’s Most Expensive Dress –

The attraction’s newest addition is one of Marilyin Monroe’s dresses, which was purchased at an auction for more than $50 million! The dress will be on display right here in Orlando until January 2018:

A copy of the dress can be found in front of the real dress, which is guarded by an employee:

As expected, the real dress is enclosed in a glass case:

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! acquired purchased the dress from Julien’s Auctions on November 17, 2016 for a staggering $4.8 million (add in auction fees, and it cost over $5 million), making it the most expensive dress in the world:
